Give - Serve - Transform

  • "In every way I have shown you that by hard work of that sort we must help the weak, and keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus who himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

    - Acts of the Apostles 20:35

The Faith and Service Committee's mission is to "Give - Serve - Transform" our lives and the lives of those around us by joyfully giving our time and talents to serve those in need.   Throughout the school year, the committee provides service opportunities for families to work together to help make our community a better place.

The Family Day of Service in October had parents and children working together to help clear leaves and garbage from our school neighborhood.  There were 4 teams who worked together to rake and bag more than 176 bags of leaves.  Even the youngest children were able to help by stuffing goody bags of candy (donated at the Trunk or Treat) and signing cards to deliver to the retired servicemembers in Veterans Hospital long-term care to thank them for their service to our country.
